Things to Keep in Mind When Applying for HSMP Visa

The HSMP (Highly Skilled Migrant Programme) scheme was introduced in 2002 but it has been phased out. According to hsmp scheme, highly skilled people could migrate to UK for employment opportunities. They could work with some company or could seek self employment also.

It was a point based immigration plan, where the person who wants to migrate, had to qualify for getting the minimum 75 points. These points were based upon your educational qualifications, your past earnings, your age and UK work experience if you have any.

To apply for hsmp visas, either you could apply all by yourself or you could contact a consultant. Taking help of a consultant often costs more but it is quite hassle free and easy process, where as if you want to do it on your own, you can but it will be a lengthy and cumbersome process. It will require a lot of time and patience. To avoid this irritation and delays, its better to take help from consultants.
